Bracebridge H. Young Jr. is Chief Executive Officer of FTAC Emerald, a climate-focused SPAC. Prior to joining FTAC Emerald, Brace was Chief Executive Officer and a Partner at Mariner Investment group from 2000-2015.
He joined Mariner directly from Goldman Sachs, where he retired as a Partner, after a 20-year career in Fixed Income in New York, Tokyo, and London. Brace has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Social Finance since 2010. Brace serves on the Boards of Cultivo, a nature-focused investment firm, Terviva, a food and ag innovation company, and the Social Progress Imperative.
A frequent speaker and advisor in the impact investing space, Brace brings decades of cross-border experience in public markets, private credit, and climate-focused capital formation. Brace was educated at Bowdoin College and NYU’s Stern School of Business.
